Clarinet

During his time as a member of the woodwind team of the Cornwall county music service Martyn taught clarinet at all levels, successfully preparing students for exams up to and including grade 8.

Saxophone

In his final year at the R.C.M. Martyn studied saxophone as a second study instrument with Stephen Trier who at the time was London's leading classical saxophonist and a member of the London Philharmonic orchestra. Martyn himself went on to play saxophone professionally during his time in London and has experience teaching the instrument at all levels.

Preparation on both clarinet and saxophone for all grade examimations and the performance elements of G.C.S.E and A level music.
All styles of music taught from classical to pop and jazz, as well as blues, rock and jazz improvisation.
